He was born Feb 23, 1964 in Sarasota to Frank Smith and Mary Ann McKinney.
He was preceded in death by his younger brother, Mark Franklin Smith; grandmother, Adele Dannels; and sister, Mindy McKinney.
David is survived by his beloved wife of 18 years, Tara D. Smith; 16 year old son, Zachary Barton Smith; parents, Frank Smith, Mary Ann McKinney, and Robert “Bub” McKinney; and siblings, Lorrie Ann Parkes, Robert McKinney, Russell McKinney, and George “Mac” McKinney.
Celebration of Life will be Tues, July 15 from 6-8pm at Palms-Robarts Funeral Home, Saraosta.
