Charles ‘Terry’ Heinemeyer, passed away after a brief battle with cancer at the age of 87 on December 2, 2024 in Sarasota, FL. Born July 10, 1937 in Shanksville, PA -he was the son of the late Charles & Marian Heinemeyer. Terry is survived by his loving wife, Beverly, of 40 years and his favorite dog Muffin. Terry will be missed by his niece Patrice & husband Peter and their sons Alex & Michael. Terry was a U.S. Army Aircorps Veteran (1958-1963), he also was a 32’ degree Mason & member of the PA Blue Lodge Valley of Altoona. Terry began his career at the Knepper Insurance Agency in Somerset, PA. He moved on to become the Owner of Sarasota Bay Insurance Agency (1986-2006). Terry loved spending time with all his friends & family laughing, having cocktails and eating good food over a lifetime of golf outings, trips, parties, holidays -all with Beverly by his side. Those who knew Terry -though left with heavy hearts, should take comfort knowing that he rests in peace and has found himself in the warm embrace of the Lord. Thank all of you that Terry considered his friend. Terry will be laid to rest at the Sarasota National Cemetery with military honors. In lieu of flowers, Beverly requests that donations be made to:
