Please accept my condolences on the loss of Bruce.  I had the pleasure of working with him at Abbott and have been forever grateful for the guidance he gave me during the years.  He was a great mentor and will be greatly missed.  Your family will be in our hearts and prayers during this difficult time.

Dear Pat and family, I had the pleasure of working with Bruce for many years at Ross/Abbott.  He taught me a great deal about the manufacturing of our products.  He was also a mentor to just talk about things in general and I enjoyed the discussions I had with him.  My deepest sympathies, I know he will be missed.

Bernadette and I were very sorry to hear about Bruce's passing.  Although we hadn't seen him in more than twenty years, we recounted his sharp intellect and the way he held his own in the spirited discussions about all matters pertinent and otherwise.  I wish we had been able to spend more time with y'all. 
Life would have been much more spirited.

I had the pleasure of working directly with Bruce as his secretary over a 10 year span and he was one of kindest, most honest, and giving men I have ever known.  I know that words can never lessen the pain you are in, but know that you are all in my prayers.

Dear Pat and Family, I am very saddened to hear of Bruce's passing.  It was my honor to work for Bruce here at ABBOTT.  He taught me many aspects of the business, many of which I still call upon today.  I believe Bruce coined the phrase "low hanging fruit", here at ABBOTT.  We still use the statements, " as Bruce would say...".  My heart, thoughts, and prayers go out to you all throughout this tough transition in your lives.

I was very saddened by this news. Bruce had a positive impact on my as a person and a professional scientist. He had a positive impact on the projects where he and I worked, and I will very much miss his entheusiasm and the humor he always brought to the table.
