Betty is survived by her husband G.W. Martin, her sons John Thrasher and wife Diana, Paul Thrasher, Mark Thrasher, Steve Thrasher and wife Jill, her stepchildren Ed and Ron Martin, Martha Pangle, Judy Clayton, Donna Swallow, and many grandchildren.
She was predeceased by children James Thrasher and Brenda Rodgers. Betty and G.W had been members of Southside Baptist Church in Brandon since 1974.
A visitation for Betty will be held Sunday, April 10, 2022 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at Robert Toale and Sons Funeral Home at Palms Memorial Park, 170 Honore Ave, Sarasota, FL 34232. A Celebration of Life will follow at 1:00 PM. Interment will take place on Tuesday, April 12, 2022 at 1:30 PM at the Sarasota National Cemetery, 9810 State Rd 72, Sarasota, FL 34241.
