Arthur was born in North Chicago, Illinois on October 26, 1957 to Margaret and Andrew Moore. He was a factory worker and was employed by the Lake Forest School District. He won numerous awards for Track & Field, Shot Put, and Running in the Special Olympics. He was also a member of a bowling club, as he was an avid bowler. He was a Novas Chef who loved to cook – especially barbecue chicken. He loved to dance, and tell jokes, and sometimes could be relentless. His laugh alone would keep you in stitches and keep a smile on your face. He was considered a kind soul by many family members & friends and was truly loved by everyone. He never met a stranger, only new friends.
Arthur was preceded in death by his parents Margaret Moore and Andrew Moore. Sisters Regina Nicole Moore and Annette Worthy. He is survived by his siblings Antoinette Moore and Angela Jackson. Brothers in-law and love Charles Worthy and Daniel Jackson. Nieces and Nephews Graylan Bobo, Patrice Worthy, Alexandra Worthy, Delamar Jackson and Nathaniel Jackson and a host of aunts, uncles and cousins.
A gathering for Arthur will be held Thursday, April 11, 2024 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Robert Toale and Sons Funeral Home at Palms Memorial Park, 170 Honore Ave, Sarasota, FL 34232.
