Visitation will be held from 5:30 to 8:00pm on Friday, Nov. 4 2016 and prior to the service at 9 am to 10 am Saturday, Nov 5, 2016 at Bethel Mennonite Church in Sarasota, FL. Services will be held at 10am Saturday, Nov 5, 2016 at Bethel Mennonite Church in Sarasota, FL. Funeral arrangements by Wiegand Brothers Funeral Home. Survivors include his wife Malinda Kurtz of Sarasota, FL, son Marlin Kurtz of Sarasota, Fl, daughters Marilyn Satrazemis of Venice, FL, Marjorie Bontrager and Marti Kurtz of Bradenton, Fl and Monica Miller of Sarasota, Fl sisters Sarah Gingerich of Sarasota, FL Rosa Yoder of Summersiville, MO, Mary Yoder of Greenville, KY and brothers Emanuel Kurtz of Plain City, OH, Paul Kurtz of Lebanon, OR and Delbert Kurtz of Sweet Home, OR and nine grandchildren. He is predeceased in death by his first wife, Barbara Ellen Kurtz and sisters Barbara Stolzfus, Esther Troyer and Bertha King.
