Adaline Eloise Zalkin MD

Adaline Eloise Zalkin MD, age 73, of Sarasota, Florida passed away on Wednesday, May 31, 2023. Adaline was born in Queens, New York. She leaves behind her mother Sylvia Sussman who resides in Fort Lauderdale. Florida.

Adaline graduated from Queens College in 1971. Adaline received her Medical Degree from the University of Autonoma De Guadalajara in 1975. She then did her internship at Queens Hospital center, and residency through Penn State Polyclinic Medical Center in Harrisburg Pennsylvania. Adaline went on to serve as a Captain in the United States Army Medical Corps. She then received her MBA from the University of South Florida, were she was elected to the Honor Society of the Phi Kappa Phi, and was a fellow of the American Board of Family Medicine.

Adaline was published for solid state structure and chemistry of choline halides and their analogues along with Fisher, M.S., Templeton D.H. She spoke English and Spanish, and enjoyed water sports, working out, art, music, animals. Adaline was always ready for an adventure and willing to try new things.

Visitation for Adaline will be held Wednesday, June 7, 2023 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Robert Toale and Sons Funeral Home at Palms Memorial Park, 170 Honore Ave, Sarasota, FL 34232. A graveside service will occur Thursday, June 8, 2023 at 9:30 AM at Sarasota National Cemetery, 9810 State Rd 72, Sarasota, FL 34241.
