William Estes "Bill" Adams

William Estes Adams, of Saraland, Alabama died on Sunday, August 13, 2023, at the age of 79. He was born on July 26, 1944, in Elwood, Indiana. Bill grew up in Muncie, Indiana and graduated from Royerton High School, Class of 1959. He was preceded in death by his father, Claude Elmo Adams; mother, Eva Mae Singer Applegate; stepfather, Ed Applegate; and brother, Larry Adams.

His number one goal in life was to take care of the family he loved so dearly. This was clearly displayed through his incredible generosity given towards his family and friends. Bill had an amazing knack to fix whatever was broken with an impressive collection of tools and know-how. He was also able to find the best deal on anything that could be purchased. Known for his incredible work ethic, he was highly successful as store and area managers for multiple retailers throughout his 60 year career.

Bill is survived by his wife of 37 years, Tonette Adams; seven children, Sherrie Hart (Gary), Mike Adams, Melissa Hicks (Dave), Michele Johnson (Mike), William Adams (Breanne), Samuel Adams (Crystal), and Cayley Adams; one stepson, Andrew Hicks; and eleven grandchildren, Daniel, Brook, Trent, Ryan, Lucas, Liliana, Liam, Logan, Callen, Landon, and Levi.

The family will receive friends at Radney Funeral Home - 1200 Industrial Pkwy, Saraland, AL 36571 on Sunday August 20, 2023, from 2pm to 3pm with a memorial service following at 3pm. Condolences may be offered at www.radneyfuneralhome-saraland.com.
