Sarah Hare Gray, age 69, of Mobile, Alabama passed away on Tuesday, June 28, 2022. Sarah was born Thursday, May 28, 1953, in Mobile, Alabama to the late George Dewey and Rena Belle Clayton Hare. Sarah was a woman of God and loved worshiping with her church family and singing in the choir when she was able at Kushla-Bethany Baptist Church in Eight Mile, Alabama. She spent her life caring for her beloved family. Raising her son was Sarah's greatest accomplishment. When Sarah was younger, she enjoyed fishing, crabbing, and frequenting Wal-Mart for casual shopping. She enjoyed vacationing in Tennessee and visiting Dollywood in the mountains. Sarah held a great love for Elvis. Sarah was very giving of her-self and provided wonderful care to her sister, Martha with Alzheimer's. There wasn't a day that passed Sarah didn't stop into the nursing home, to spend quality time with her beautiful mother until her home going. Sarah's grandchildren always held a special place in her heart. She will be remembered for the loving soul she shared with others.
Sarah was preceded in passing by her parents, her beloved husband, John Irvin Gray, Jr.; one sister, Martha Belle Etheridge; and one brother-in-law, Rev. Gene Etheridge.
