Ruby Mae (Prine) Stringer – age 91, passed away Saturday, February 18, 2012 at her daughter Carolyn’s home in Saraland, AL where she has lived for the past year. A native of Citronelle, AL and resident of Satsuma, AL. She was a charter member of Creola First Baptist Church. Ruby was preceded in death by her husband of 65 years, Murl Stringer; and loving son, Michael D. Stringer. She is survived by her remaining children, James E. Stringer (Sandra), Bay St. Louis, MS, Barbara A. Buford, Seattle, WA, Carolyn S. Douglas (Harold), Saraland, AL and Janice M. Hilvert (Lou), SC; loving daughter-in-law, Vicky Stringer; two sisters, Bernice Walker, Mobile, AL and Helen Hamilton (Charles), Atlanta, GA; twelve grandchildren; twenty great-grandchildren; fourteen great-great-grandchildren; many other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held Friday, February 24, 2012, at 2:00 p.m. from the chapel of Radney Funeral Home in Saraland. Visitation will be Thursday from 5-8 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment will be in Creola Cemetery.
