Johnny Ross, age 68, longtime resident of Citronelle, AL, passed away on Saturday, January 28, 2023 in Birmingham, AL. He is preceded in death by his parent, Lloyd Willard Ross and Gladys Parnell Ross, brother G.W. Ross, sister Gladys Lucille Gardner and step-daughter Jennifer Leigh Harris.
Mr. Ross was employed for 33 years as a chemical operator, retiring in 2006 from Syngenta. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather and employee. He enjoyed spending time attending his grandchildren's sporting events, Alabama football and being with his family.
Johnny is survived by his wife Janice K. Ross, son Joel Ray Ross (Devin) and step-son, Chris Harris (Jennifer). He is also survived by his grandchildren, Farley Harris, Chase and Anderson Harris, Gaige
Lee and Allie Grace Ross.
Visitation will be held at Radney Funeral Home-Saraland on Friday, February 3, 2023 from 9:00 a.m. until 10:00 a.m. Funeral services will be held in the funeral home chapel beginning at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow in Mobile Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
Serving as pallbearers will be Alvin Allen, Mark Stanley, Paul Lester, Ken Grice, Adam Ross and Kevin Carpenter.
