James Elvin Orso, 77, born November 3, 1946 to the late Boyd Orso and Ollie Mae Weaver Dees, in Mobile, Alabama passed away on June 30, 2024 in Mobile, Alabama.

James loved to spend his time with his family and friends. He enjoyed fishing and making people laugh.

James was preceded in death by his wife, Martha Orso; son, Jamie Orso; parents, Boyd Orso and Ollie Mae Dees; sisters, Elsie Whatley, Ella Mae Orso and Diane Orso; and a brother, Tommy Dees.

Surviving is his loving and devoted son, Jonathan Orso; two grandsons, JB Orso and Grayson Orso; granddaughter, Railey Fondren; brothers, Ricky Orso, Mike Dees (Grace) and John Dees; sisters, Theresa Dees and Gloria Wilcox (Carl); a very special cousin, Patricia Rivers and a special daughter in law, Cristi Orso; also, survived by other relatives, family and many friends.

Visitation for James will be held on Monday, July 8, 2024 from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm at Radney Funeral Home – Saraland. Funeral service will be held in the chapel of the funeral home at 2:00 pm. Interment will follow at Forest Lawn Cemetery, Saraland, Alabama.
