A long life residence of Santa Paula, Elda loved working on puzzles, watching reality shows, spending time with family and friends, listening to music, and although she loved to go out to eat at favorite restaurants like La Cabaña and La Terraza, she loved to cook, especially caldo de rez, pozole, and menudo.
Elda is survived by her parents Lucia Garcia and Canuto Garcia; her forever partner David Garza; siblings Debbie Garcia, Sylvia Garcia, Nick Garcia, Joseph Garcia, Desiree Garcia, and Yvonne Garcia; her loving children Jaime G Escamilla, Manlio Escamilla, and Anita M Escamilla; 12 grandchildren, and 4 great-grandchildren.
The Escamilla and Garcia families would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude and appreciation to the staff at VCMC and Santa Paula Hospital for their help and care towards Elda and to everyone who offers their prayers and sent their condolences during this difficult time.
