Born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Mr. Mucha served in the U.S. Navy and was a World War II veteran. He was employed as a financial controller in the advertising industry and was a member and usher at St. Monica's Catholic Church.
Surviving are his wife, Camille; two daughters, Jane Sullivan and Joy Drew; a son David Mucha; two brothers August Mucha and Anthony Wolczanski; a sister Jenny Lacki; and two grandchildren, Eric and Jenna Drew.
Friends may call Monday from 6-8 P.M. at Gates, Kingsley & Gates Moeller Murphy Mortuary, 1925 Arizona Avenue, Santa Monica, California and are to attend the Funeral Mass Tuesday, October 5 at 9:30 A.M. at St. Monica's Church, 725 California Avenue, Santa Monica. Committal services with military honors are at 1:00 P.M. at Riverside National Cemetery, 22495 Van Buren Blvd., Riverside, California. (meet at Staging Area #1).
