Ronald Virgil Pasquinelli, 83, of Santa Clara passed away peacefully on October 18th, 2023. Ron was born and raised in San Jose and came to settle in Santa Clara in 1962, a town he loved and never left. He started work at a cannery in San Jose at an early age and went on to work at the City of Santa Clara for 38 years. Ron enjoyed his co-workers at the City and grew to think of them as extended family. Even planning hunting and fishing trips together; which somehow always involved a stop in Reno or Vegas. He enjoyed traveling and was always ready for a trip to his favorite places like Las Vegas or Hawaii. After retirement, Ron was most happy spending time and traveling with family, fixing things around the house, hanging out with friends and “camping” at the family trailer in Pismo Beach. Ron is survived by his wife of almost 61 years Billie, son Ronald (Patsy), daughters Danielle (Andy) and Monique and grand-daughters Keira & Kaitlin, as well as many nieces & nephews. Ron will be dearly missed and always remembered by his beloved family and friends as someone who could be counted on to do whatever needed doing, always lending a hand and was always ready with a quick smile or joke.
A Celebration of Life will be held in his honor. We request all of Ron’s loved ones to join us in celebrating his life at Lima Family Santa Clara Mortuary Reception Hall, 466 N. Winchester Blvd, Santa Clara, CA 95050, on December 2, 2023 from 1pm - 4pm. Please RSVP to Monique at 408/621-0483 or email at [email protected]. Casual Dress is a must! If you would like to honor him in some way, please consider making a donation to St. Judes Children’s Hospital or one of your own favorite charities. He would like that.
