Kenneth Ray Conn

Kenneth (Kenny), son of Everett V. and Twila J. Harpst Conn was born and grew up near Greenville, PA. A U.S. Marine Corporal, he was awarded a Purple Heart from his service in the Korean conflict 1950-53. He settled in the Santa Clara Valley of California after his service. He worked as a Carpenter and was granted lifetime membership in the United Brotherhood of Carpenters and Joiners of America. Kenneth was an active member of the Loyal Order of Moose and administrator of the Sunnyvale Moose Lodge where he earned the highest honor, Pilgrim Degree of Merit. Surviving is: mother of children, Ruby Conn-Sturm; daughters, Jan Allen, Jill Eaton and daughter in-law Marilyn Conn; grandchildren, Gary Allen Jr. and Valerie, Larry Eaton, Brandy Allen, Nadine Houle and John, Krystal Allen Wilson and J.R., Kendall Conn, Cierra Conn and Cienna Conn; great-grandchildren, Lindsey Allen, Brittany Allen, Brandon Allen Cody Worrell, Krystal M. Allen, Isaiah Allen, Arianna Allen, Twyla Houle, Kayden Allen, Lydia Houle and Dalilah Houle; great-great-granddaughter Mayven Watson; sister, Rosemary Goehring, Oakdale, Pa.; and brother Ronald Conn, Centerville, PA. Kenneth was preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Barbara Conn, and Virginia Sarcinella; and brothers, James, Dale and Richard Conn and by his son Bradley Conn and great-granddaughter Alicyia Allen. A Memorial Service to honor Kenneth will be held on Friday, Jan. 22. 2016 at 11 AM at Lima Family Santa Clara Mortuary, 466 N. Winchester Blvd., Santa Clara. Inurnment immediately following at Mission City Memorial Park Cemetery.
