Fred Kurtz

Fred was born in White, South Dakota and graduated from South Dakota State University with a degree in Electrical Engineering. He then served in the Air Force and went on to have a long career at GTE Sylvania.

Fred loved fixing up European cars, singing at church and in the Schola Cantorum and playing softball, volleyball and ping pong.

He was known for his cheerful disposition, friendly waves in the neighborhood and always there to lend a hand.

He is survived by his loving wife of 59 years, Donna; his three children, Jenell Kurtz, Rhonda (Brett) Bonifay and Ginger (Jim) Coffey; and his six grandchildren, Calyssa, Brecken, and Boston Bonifay and Cade Ridge and Tygan Coffey.

He will be dearly missed and his family plans to celebrate his life in a private ceremony due to the current restrictions.
