Rosie was no ordinary lady. She was a woman full of humor, honesty, and above all, LOVE. She slipped away from us Tuesday morning and now watches over us with our beloved Poppi. She leaves behind her children Susie, Herbie, Jimmy, and David, as well as, grandchildren Tina and Sean. No one could ever love their family as much as Rosie did. Always putting us first and willing to do anything that was needed. From cooking to sewing to just making us roll over in laughter. Many nights the family spent at bingo halls where her personality took flight. Cracking jokes with friends and callers, walking around making sure to check in with all her favorite people, and always spreading positivity to everyone around her. Growing up as a dancer, lover of music, and later on as a diligent nurse, Rosie was nothing less than an overachiever. She was a strong and bold woman that never backed down from any challenge. Her fearlessness and tenderness taught her family and all who knew her how really to live life. Rosie is dearly missed and will never be forgotten. Please join us for Visitation Sunday, April 22 from 3-5pm at Lima Family Santa Clara Mortuary, 466 N Winchester Blvd. A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Joseph’s of Cupertino, 10110 N De Anza Blvd. on Monday, April 23 at 11am. Interment will follow in Santa Clara Mission Cemetery. “We love you grandma.”
