Clarence passed away peacefully at home accompanied by his wife at age 89. He was a native and lifelong resident of Santa Clara. He was a World War II US Navy combat veteran and a member of the American legion. He was a longtime member of the Portuguese American club of Santa Clara county. He was devoted to his family and was a loving husband and father. He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Rosemary Bringuel, and his children; Mark (Sandy) Bringuel, Marilyn (Andrew) Hunter, Matthew Bringuel, and Martin (Hong) Bringuel, along with six grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Family and Friends are invited to a visitation on Sunday, July 27, 2014 from 5pm to 9pm with a Rosary beginning at 7pm and the Funeral Services to be held on Monday, July 28, 2014 at 11am the Lima Family Santa Clara Mortuary, 466 N. Winchester Blvd., Santa Clara. Interment to follow at Santa Clara Mission Cemetery.
