Carl Eugene Fisher

Carl Eugene Fisher, a longtime resident of Campbell, CA was a devoted husband to Audrey Fisher for over 61 years, and a loving father to his daughter Debra Collins, son Michael Fisher, son-in-law Christopher Collins, daughter-in-law Lorine McMasters, sister Martha Rose Edwards and many other extended family, friends and colleagues. He was preceded in death by his parents Frank and Gertrude Fisher, brother Robert Fisher, and sisters Marianne Bridgeland and Norma Corsello.

Carl was born on July 27, 1933, in Ridgefarm, Illinois, and peacefully passed on May 30, 2022. He was raised in Fithian, Illinois, and joined the U.S. Navy in 1953, rising to the rank of Master Chief of Avionics until his retirement in 1975. His second career was working for San Jose/Evergreen Community College District for 29 years from 1976-2005 when he retired from Evergreen Valley College as Media Supervisor.

Carl was a humble, kind, funny, hardworking and generous man who took pride in his roots, family, work and faith. For family and friends who would like to pay their respects and bid him farewell, there will be a viewing only at Lima Family Mortuary in Santa Clara, CA on Wednesday June 15, 2022, from 10 am-12 pm. Carl will then be committed to his final resting place in a private burial with his immediate family at Oak Hill Cemetery in San Jose, CA.
