Warren was born on August 14, 1937 to Clifford and Alice Cavanaugh in Long Beach, CA. After Warren graduated from Orange High School in 1956, he enlisted in the Navy and served until June 1960.
After returning from the Navy, Warren met Charlotte and married on August 5, 1962 and went on to have two daughters, Michele and Brenda.
In 2002, Warren retired after 35 years in the Grocery Industry and spent his time vacationing in Solvang, outings to the beach, and watching Western movies.
He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Charlotte; daughter, Michele Ellington; daughter and son-in-law, Brenda and Kenneth Schmidt; 6 grandchildrens; 7 great grandchildren; step-father, James Spear; brother, Wayne Cavanaugh; and two half-sisters, Marlene Spear and Carolyn Dayton.
A service will be held on January 24, 2024 at 12:00pm at Fairhaven Memorial Park & Mortuary, 1702 Fairhaven Avenue in Santa Ana.
Warren is loved and will be deeply missed.
