Sharon Lynn Adams

Sharon Whitten Kirkgard Adams, age 75, of Sanford, Florida passed away to her eternal home with Jesus on Tuesday, June 1st, 2021. Sharon was born on April 29th, 1946 in Sanford, Florida to the late Harry Donald Whitten and Flora Edna Whitten.

Sharon married John David Adams on February 4th, 1989 and was together 32 years up until her passing,

Sharon was a member of the Sanford Church of God (Now RiverWalk Church of God) and now has been promoted to her Heavenly Home. Sharon worked at Miracle Marble in Sanford FL, and the Seminole County School board in the lunch room. In her younger years she worked at McCrory’s dime store and was a volunteer Candy Striper, both in Seminole County. Her passion was serving the Lord and giving of her singing talents to him. She was very strong in her faith and lived a dedicated life.

Sharon is predeceased by her step son David Lee.

Left to cherish her memory is her husband, John David Adams; her siblings; Don Whitten, Theressea (Teri) Leonard, Doneilda Branton; her children, Chris Kirkgard, Lia Melby (Tim); her step children, John David, David Shane (Shi), Tammy Lee (Arthur); her grandchild, Jacob Melby, Autum Melby, Coby Melby; great grandson, Ryan Melby; 3 step grandchildren; 1 step great granddaughter, as well as numerous extended family members, church members, and dear friends.
