Ronald Leo Wirth, 78, passed away on December 29, 2017 in Orange City, Florida. He was born on August 24, 1939 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania to Bernard and Catherine Wirth. Ronald is a retired United States Army Veteran who enlisted during the Korean Conflict and during his career he was deployed to Vietnam twice. After 23 years of service, Ronald retired from the military and pursued endeavors as a civilian. Ronald is survived by his wife Nora Wirth, son Ron Wirth, daughter-in-law Shari Wirth, his grandson David Wirth and wife Ashley, granddaughter Kaylee Mueller and husband Trinton as well as his great-grandchildren Laden and Allison wirth. Ronald also leaves behind his stepchildren Sonya Riter, John Puckett and Kevin Puckett along with many other family members and friends who will miss him dearly. A gathering of friends will be held at Baldwin-Fairchild Oaklawn Chapel in Sanford on Saturday, January 6, 2017 from 11:00am to 12:00pm. A graveside service will take place at Oaklawn Park Cemetery in Sanford at 12:00pm with a reception to follow at the funeral home.
