Phyllis Louise Ottis

Phyllis Louise Ottis, 80, of Maitland, FL passed away peacefully on February 20, 2016. She was born in Bluefield, WV to her loving parents Jess and Georgia Byrd. Phyllis was the ultimate caregiver. She always put the needs of others before hers. After raising two boys, her biggest thrill was having three granddaughters that she could spoil. Phyllis is predeceased in death by her parents, Jess and Georgia Byrd, her brother Jess W. Byrd, Jr. her son Larry Ottis and her granddaughter Kaliegh Ottis. She is survived by her loving and devoted husband of 61 years, Joe Ottis, her son Kenneth (Kim) Ottis, and granddaughter Kelsey Ottis; her daughter-in-law Eve Ottis and granddaughter Ally, her sister Syliva Goad, her sister Nancy Wietrzykowski (Ski), and sister-in-law Barbara Byrd. Phyllis’ family has planned a Memorial Service for Friday 26, 2016 starting at 3pm at Baldwin-Fairchild Oaklawn Chapel located at 5000 County 46A, Sanford, FL 32771. The family has asked that in lieu of flowers, or in addition to, donations be made to Kaleigh’s Dream Foundation in honor of Phyllis’ granddaughter Kaliegh. http://www.kalieghsdreamfoundation.org
