Walking and talking with Dave on the Sanford Riverwalk for over 2 years was a blessing in my life.
Dave loved life and people, it was evident in seeing so many people at the Celebration of Dave's Life on Saturday.
We will all miss our friend and  our neighbor Dave  who who was always willing to help out anyone.

I worked with Dave for many years at BellSouth.  He is a wonderful man and will be missed by many who worked with.him.  I always enjoyed seeing and talking to him and considered him my friend.

My prayers will continue to be said for your family. I am hoping they find comfort in knowing you are no longer suffering and with God.  My sister passed two years ago from cancer also.  I find comfort in knowing she is finally at peace..

I met Dave about 20 years ago and became best friends. If you needed something fixed, or a helping hand, Dave was your man. Dave loved the outdoors, we spent lots of time on the boats fishing or just spending the day on the river running up to Silver Glenn.Dave, you will be missed by me and everyone you ever knew. We love you.

Janie, We were very sad to hear that Dave had passed. We are out of town so will not be there Sat. but please know that we are thinking of you and praying for you at this difficult 
time.

David was our classmate at Edgewater High School, class of 1964.  We are having our 50th reunion in September and he will be remembered,

I have known Dave since the Sambo restaurant days, I never knew him to be in a bad mood, I always looked forward to seeing him and the other Bell South guys, R.I.P. Dave, you will be missed. So sorry for your loss Janie, and the rest of the family

In our lives people come and go but some of these people have a great impact on our lives. My cousin Dave was one of these unique people, one who I believe would give you the shirt off his back. Even though Dave is 10 years my senior, a lot of the firsts in my life were with Dave.  My first trip to Disney was in the back of Dave's dune buggy.  Dave taught me to drive in that dune buggy. My first time water skiing you guessed it- Dave. First time on a motorcycle, again Dave. Many hours of memories with Dave, duck hunting, boating and riding motorcycles have been my pleasure. Dave is one of those truly special people in so many lives that he touched and will be greatly missed.  Dave's passing will leave a large hole in many of our lives. Love you like a brother.

Janie, so sorry to hear of the passing of Dave.  Our thoughts and prayers are with you.  May the beautiful memories you two shared comfort you.

I worked with Dave many years ago and was saddened to hear of his passing. Whether you agreed with him on any subject or not, you always knew and respected where he stood. My wife and I pray for the comfort of our Lord to help you thru this most difficult of times.

I wish we could have known Dave longer and better, but even our brief coffee house weekly visits were enough for us to appreciate the kind, gentle and compassionate man that inspired us.  Loved his sense of humor.  Truly good guy and we'll miss him.  We pray your family feels God's arms around you at this time, holding you up.
