Wanda Eaves Hickey

Mrs. Wanda Eaves Hickey, 73, of Atlanta, GA passed away peacefully at home on October 19, 2013. She was born to the late Carl and Rhoda Eaves in Riceville, TN and grew up in Chattanooga. Wanda is a graduate of Central High School in Chattanooga. She was very artistic and loved to garden, but her passion was for cooking. It was known that Wanda’s favorite room in the house was the kitchen. She had a kind spirit, and was a patient and a devoted mother and wife. She was preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, David Joseph Hickey and sister, Wilma Hancock. Wanda is survived by her sons, Michael Hickey (Lisa) and Patrick Hickey (Joshua), daughter, Beth Tindel (Kirk), grandchildren, Keghan Hickey, Lane Wiggins, Jackson Hickey, Lucy Tindel and Ava Tindel and great-grandson, Holden Wiggins. A memorial service will be held on Friday, October 25, 2013 at 2:00pm in the chapel of H.M. Patterson & Son Arlington Chapel, Atlanta, GA.
