Laura Maciej Vickers, born July 23, 1970 in Long Beach, CA, joined her Savior on her 41st birthday after a valiant 4 1/2 year battle with inflammatory breast cancer. She inspired everyone with her positive attitude, beautiful smile and uplifting spirit. She was a motivating and loving partner to her husband, Travis Vickers and a patient and nurturing mother to Samantha Fleming and Gavin Vickers of Sandy Springs, GA. Her amazing life will be treasured and remembered by her parents, Bill and Cathie Maciej sister Jenny, nieces Kirsten and Kimmy of Carmichael, CA ; her in-laws Robert (Karen) Vickers, Barbara (George) Strasdas, Camryn Vickers (Clem) Foley and nephews Colm and John-Robert of Palm Beach County, FL; and the Flemings of Atlanta, GA.
