It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Katherine Connelly Brown, a devoted wife, loving mother, and avid Georgia Bulldogs fan. Kelly passed away July 30th 2024 surrounded by family.
Kelly's love for her husband of 39 years and children was evident in every aspect of her life. She was a pillar of strength and support, always putting their needs above her own and providing unwavering love and guidance. Her family was her pride and joy, and she treasured every moment spent with them. Kelly had a passion for life and a kind heart that touched everyone she met. She had a special gift for making others feel valued and loved, and her infectious smile could brighten even the darkest of days.
In addition to her dedication to her family, Kelly had a deep passion for the Georgia Bulldogs. She proudly sported the team's colors, and loved attending tailgates and games with her husband.
Kelly's legacy of love, strength, and loyalty will continue to inspire those who were fortunate enough to know her. She is survived by her husband Ken Brown, daughter and son-in-law, Kendall and Sebastian Greco, sons and their respective partners, Karson Brown and Barry Atkins, Kody Brown and Lillian Brandt, her beloved grandson Connor Ferdig, mother Deanne Volbeda as well as siblings Lance Connelly, Molly Paxton and husband Zeke, Joy Brennan and husband Jim, and numerous cherished nieces and nephews who brought joy and love into her life.
A memorial service to celebrate Kelly's life will be held at H.M Patterson & Son-Arlington Chapel
(173 Allen Rd., NE Sandy Springs GA 30328) on Friday August 9th.
The family will receive friends and 10 o'clock followed by funeral services at 11 o'clock, a reception will immediately follow.
