Doris Rose Hudson

Doris Rose Hudson, 92, passed peacefully away on Monday, March 30th, 2015 having fulfilled her earthly purpose. Known to her grandchildren as, “Honey,” Doris Rose was a loving mother, a kind and gentle great-grandmother, and a caring and loyal friend. She will be remembered for her sunny disposition, her joyous spirit, and her infectious laugh that could spread across a room like a soothing wind. She is now reunited with her husband, James Hurn Hudson, with whom she was faithfully married for fifty-five years. Doris Rose lives on in the memory of her family that pledges to honor her wish to have a good laugh every day. We can hear her laughter ringing down from the halls of heaven now. Funeral services will be conducted on Thursday, April 2nd at two o’clock in the afternoon at Patterson’s Arlington Chapel. Mrs. Hudson will be taken to Rogersville, Alabama on Friday for family graveside services that will be conducted at two o’clock, CST at the Civitan Cemetery. Friends are cordially invited to visit with the family Thursday afternoon from one o’clock until the hour of service at H. M.
