Paul Michael O'Keefe

Paul had a brilliant mathematical mind and attention to detail, loved golfing, The Yankees and sports of all kinds. He had great affection for his family and friends and was lovingly known to his friends as “Moose” and grandchildren as “Grandpa O’Keefe.” He was a warm-hearted, funny guy who enjoyed celebrating life with classic rock music and great craft beer. More than anything he loved putting smiles on the faces of his grandchildren.

Paul was a great provider for his family and a beacon of strength to those around him. After graduating with a degree in accounting from Fordham University in 1975, he took a job with Coopers & Lybrand, later becoming a partner at PricewaterhouseCoopers. Not one to stand idle, Paul's retirement jobs included serving as a board member and volunteering with AARP as a tax expert from his home in Sandwich. Paul was a rock to so many people over so many years, and we'll miss him greatly.

He is survived by his wife Patricia Calvert O’Keefe, four daughters, three grandchildren, two chihuahuas and many, many friends. His life will be remembered fondly by Kathleen and Trevor Wakeley (Emily and Ryan), Brittany Eiben (Matthew), Amanda and Tyler Samolyk, Kymberly O’Keefe and his siblings Mary O’Keefe, James O’Keefe, Daniel O’Keefe and William O’Keefe.

Visitation will be April 24, 2023 at Nickerson-Bourne Funeral Home from 1:00 to 3:00pm. Funeral Service will be held at 3:00 at Nickerson-Bourne Funeral Home, 154 Rt. 6A Sandwich, MA.

A reception will follow at The Ridge Club, 70 Country Club Rd., Sandwich, MA from 4:00pm to 6:00pm.
