Dale D. Glover III; an incredible man, son, brother, husband, Dad, Pop Pop, brother-in-law, uncle, best friend, friend and colleague, passed away unexpectedly, yet peacefully, on May 15, 2020 at his home in Sandwich, MA. Dale was sixty-eight years old and surrounded by his loving family. He was born on April 13, 1952 in Neptune City, NJ to the late Darwin Dale Glover II and Pearl Glover (Wakefield) who still resides in NJ.
He is not only survived by his loving mother but also his devoted wife, Barbara, of forty-six years of marriage, his beloved son Ryan Glover and wonderful daughter-in-law, Denise, of Sandwich, MA; his adored grandchildren: Harry, Lainie and Marshall who lit up his world every day, and his sister, Ab Menditto of Neptune, NJ.
Dale’s last full day with us was one he well deserved. A beautiful sunny day in which he caught a fish in the morning, read a book, sang and listened to his favorite music, enjoyed a Manhattan on his deck with his son who was his pride and joy and shared with his wife “What a perfect day!” he had had.
If you are lucky to be the type of man that Dale was, you have the “world on a string.” Unselfish, hard-working, extremely loving and one who had an endless sense of humor. His greatest treasures were his FAMILY, his friends and especially his Tomatoes’ Crew.
Remember Dale’s contagious smile, do the same… and he will always be with you.
Dale, Dad and Pop Pop, you are forever in our hearts.
Services will be private. A Celebration of Life will be scheduled at a later date.
