Rachel North, 65, a resident of Willow Glen neighborhood in San Jose, CA, passed away unexpectedly of natural causes on September 27th in the comfort of her bed.Rachel was born in Indianapolis, IN on December 16, 1948 and lived in the San Francisco Bay Area since 1982. She was a devoted mother and sister. Rachel is survived by her two children: Lisa Rae King of San Francisco, and Joseph Adam King of Dresden, Germany. She was overjoyed to have become a grandmother to Oskar Elliott King in July, 2014.
Over the decades of Rachel's life, she lived with absolute devotion to her children and sister, and had an extraordinarily strong work ethic. She developed sincere friendships with her professional contacts during a 30+ year career technology.
She especially cherished bringing friends and family together to celebrate birthdays and Christmas. She was fluent with expressions of love and affection in person and in writing. She took great delight in gift giving and generously helped those who were close to her when they were in need. She was not only an exceptionally beautiful person on the outside, but also remarkably warm-hearted on the inside. Her vibrant heart lives on through those who were blessed enough to have known her - but also especially in little Oskar who she adored so much, but whom she did not yet have a chance to meet.
