Mercedes C. Di-Pollina-Martin

Mercedes passed away on October 21, 2023 after a long fought illness. She is finally at peace.

She was born May 24, 1935 in Lucca, Italy to parents Anselmo and Pona Citti.

Eventually moving to the U.S in her teens, she would meet and marry the love of her life, Wallace Martin. Then began a true love story of faith, determination and true devotion.

After many happy years together, sadly, her true love passed on but Mercedes would one day again be lucky enough to find love and companionship with Thomas Di-Pollina, a kind and caring man we all grew to love.

Mercedes is survived by son David Martin, daughter Nancy Parker, son-in-law Alan Parker, and granddaughter Marissa Lauderdale, grand son-in-law Jake Lauderdale, great granddaughter Parker Rose Lauderdale and Brother-in-Law Bill Martin.

Mercedes will be deeply missed by her family and friends.

A visitation for Mercedes will be held Wednesday, November 8, 2023 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Oak Hill Funeral Home & Memorial Park, 300 Curtner Ave, San Jose, CA 95125, followed by a funeral service from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM.
