Mary R. Rios

Mary R. Rios, of San Jose, California passed away on Saturday, October 5, 2024. Mary was 87 years old. She was born in Del Rio, Val Verde, Texas to parents Maria Rodriguez and Pablo Rios. She was one of nine children born to the couple.

Mary is survived by her seven children: Nelson 'JR' Elemen, Edward Elemen, David (Cindy) Elemen, Gabriel Martinez (Linda Figueroa), Bonnie (Geno) Juarez, Steve (Connie) Martinez and Lisa (Val) Garcia. Her brothers "Bobby" Robert R. Rios, "Ray" Reynaldo Rios, and Ruben Rios will miss her dearly. She was lovingly cared for, for many years by her Granddaughters Monique Vallez and wife Pat Vallez. Mary's legacy has extended to being an amazing Grandma to 31, a Great-Grandma to 62 and a Great Great-Grandma to seven and not to forget her faithful companion, "Bentley" the Chihuahua.

She was preceded in death by her son Abraham Elemen, grandson David Elemen, Daughter-in-law Laura Elemen, three brothers, John R. Rios, "Joe" Jose A. Rios and Richard Rios, two sisters, "Maggie" Margarita Rios and Rita Rios, and her parents Maria Rodriguez and Pablo Rios and lastly, faithful companion, "Chiquita" the Chihuahua. Rest in Peace.

Friends and family are invited to attend a Visitation for Mary being held on Saturday, October 19, 2024 at 12 noon at Lima Family Erickson. Rosary to follow at 1:00 p.m. Funeral Service to follow at 1:30 p.m.
