Loretta Lenora Bergen

The funeral service and burial will be held at 12 noon, Wednesday October 14, at Oak Hill Memorial Park, San Jose, CA. Pastor Paul Brown of Hillside Church will be officiating. Funeral arrangements are being handled by Oak Hill.

Loretta was born in Turner County, South Dakota on July 10, 1934. She graduated from Fremont High School in Sunnyvale, CA.

Loretta was married to Roger Bergen on July 12, 1953; they were married 66 years.

Loretta worked as a homemaker for many years. She later served as Office manager for Roger’s Dental practice. She enjoyed calligraphy, cross stitch embroidery, and reading to her grandchildren. She was also actively involved with Peninsula Covenant Church and later Sierra Bible Church.

Loretta is survived by Roger, son Phillip and daughter-in-law Lyn, grandsons Eli and Lars, and other family and friends.

Loretta is preceded in death by mother Sarah, father Peter, brother Henry, sisters Linda, Norma and Esther, and son Roger Evan.
