Jesus S. Jimenez was born on November 26, 1936 in Soyatlan Del Oro, Jalisco, Mexico. He immigrated to the United States as a young man in 1955 searching for a better life and to help his family in Mexico. He married Maria L. Jimenez and had 4 children and 9 grandchildren. He was very active in the community, participating in things such as helping at Most Holy Trinity Church for over 25 years, working with the Cursillo Movement and Marriage Encounter, growing fruits and vegetables at a community garden, and sharing his talents and harvest with the community. He also enjoyed gardening at home, raising animals, riding his horse, cooking, baking, making homemade wine (ponche) and spending time with friends and family. He took pride in being an honest, hard working and giving person. He has left a beautiful legacy and will be remembered by many for generations.
