Jesus Diaz Beltran

Desde muy chico en su amado Corrales se enseño a trabajar. Ahí también inicio su amor por la charrería, las armas y el baile.

En el año 1967 decidió emigrar a los estados unidos. Realizo varios trabajos desde lava platos,soldador,albañil hasta llegar al trabajo que amaba ,como laborero de la unión 270. Este mismo trabajo le brindo la oportunidad de traerse a toda su familia a los Estados Unidos.

Uno de sus más grandes orgullos era su familia, su esposa, sus 5 hijos, 15 nietos y 2 bisnietos. Siempre fue un hombre muy servicial y dispuesto a ayudar su comunidad en los estados unidos al igual que su gente en su pueblo querido.

En el 1999 fue co-fundador de La Federación de Clubes Zacatecanos del norte de California. Atra vez de esta organización logro varios proyectos en su natal Corrales, como la carretera de Corrales a Sombrerete, la capilla de velación y el sistema de agua potable, por nombrar algunos de sus logros. Siempre ayudo a un sin número de personas de la tercera edad.

José era amante de la naturaleza, caminatas al aire libre y visitas al mar. Entre sus cosas favoritas estaba el regresar cada año a su pueblo a visitar su mejor amigo Margarito, mejor conocido como Pájaro.

Sin duda nos deja un vacío inmenso su partida, siempre será recordado por todos los que lo conocimos y amamos.

Le sobreviven su esposa Tomasa, sus hijos Jessica, Ismael, Rosie, Linda y Salvador, sus 15 nietos y 2 bisnietos.

José de Jesús Beltrán was born on January 3, 1943 in the humble town of Corrales sombrerete Zacatecas. He is the oldest of 10 siblings, born to Rosario Díaz and Salvador Beltrán.

From a very young age he began to work in his beloved Corrales, where his love for charrería, guns and dancing started.

In 1967 he decided to immigrate to the United States. He held various jobs from dishwasher, welder, bricklayer until he began the job he loved, as a union 270 laborer. This same job gave him the opportunity to bring his entire family to the United States.

One of his greatest prides was his family, his wife, his 5 children, 15 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. He was always willing to help his community in the United States as well as his people in his beloved hometown.

In 1999 he would be co-founder of the Federation of Zacatecan Clubs of Northern California. Through this organization, he accomplished several projects in his native Corrales, such as the Corrales to Sombrerete highway, the funeral chapel and running water, to name just a few of his achievements. He was an ambassador for the elders, always insuring they were not excluded and well taken care of.

José loved all things nature, he loved taking walks and trips to the ocean. Among his favorite things was returning every year to his town to visit his best friend Margarito, better known as Pajaro.

Without a doubt, he leaves us an immense void, he will always be remembered by all of us who knew and loved him.

Jose is survived by his wife Tomasa, his children Jessica, Ismael, Rosie, Linda and Salvador, his 15 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
