Jacqueline M. Gittens

Jacqueline M. Gittens, aged 81, passed away on Sunday, February 12, 2023 in San Jose, California. Jacqueline was born in Michigan to loving parents Evelyn (Sperry) Ragen and Robert W. Ragen. She was fourth born of six children, five girls and one boy.

Jacqueline is survived by her son, Christopher N. Doyle (Yukari Doyle), step daughter Christine Gittens, step sons William Gittens and Alexander Gittens. Jackie was an amazing grandmother to Brittany Cowan (Vasylko Petrynec), Andrew Cowan, Nathan Doyle, Tiffany Cowan and Shaunessy Doyle and blessed to be a great-grandmother to Ava Cowan. Jackie will be dearly missed by her siblings: Koryne A. Barkenhagen, Timothea M. Cherry (Chuck), Catherine M. Campbell, William Ragen (Maryanne) and Daphne Gallager.

Jacqueline was preceded in death by her husband William E. Gittens and parents, Evelyn and Robert W. Ragen.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, March 11, 2023, from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. at Lima Family Erickson Memorial Chapel, 710 Willow Street, San Jose.
