Frank A Torres

Frank's great courage, strength, perseverance, deep faith and sense of humor helped sustain him through several years of battling cancer. He never lost hope that he could overcome his illness. He was unfailingly upbeat, had great spirit and was always grateful to his family and medical team for all their help. He had a smile for everyone and joked around even through his pain. He had a very big heart and was generous to a fault with family and friends alike.

Frank is survived by his elder brother Jesse P. Torres and wife Erma, sisters Rosa T. Reyes (W), Frances T. Tafoya (W), Cynthia Torres and husband Ray Amador, Manuela Torres and husband Raymundo Marqueda and Mercedes Torres. Nieces Imelda Tafoya, Mary Louise R. Martinez, Alice Torres, Isabel T. Ortiz, Michele T. Solatti, Linda M. Medina, Claudia Tafoya, Adriana Tafoya, Angelica Marqueda, Gabrielle Torres, Nephews Mark Tafoya, Robert Reyes, Ruben Torres, Raymundo Marqueda and Manuel Torres. Also numerous Great Nieces and Great Nephews.

Services will be held at Lima Family Erickson Memorial Chapel on Willow Street at 7pm on Thursday July 24, 2014. Memorial Mass will be at Saint Francis of Assisi Chapel on San Felipe Avenue at 11am on Friday July 25, 2014. Following the Mass, burial will be at Calvary Cemetery on Madden Avenue.
