Dale William Hartzell died on January 17, 2021 after a long battle with cancer. Son of the late Merle and Gertrude Hartzell, survived by beloved wife Eva Corinne Hartzell, granddaughter Crystal (Gabriel) Olvera, and great granddaughter Alisa-Marie Olvera from San Jose, and grandson Mark Mummert from Montana.
He graduated from San Jose State with a BS. Dale was an Enrolled Agent for 30+ years in San Jose. He loved to travel with his wife visiting all 50 states and taking cruises all over the world. He loved music and dancing and that is how he met his wife. They spent their summers traveling to the yearly round and square dance conventions, until 2000 when Dale was diagnosed with cancer.
Service will be at Oak Hill Cemetery in San Jose located (300 Curtner Ave, San Jose) on February 13, 2021. Visitation will begin at 1:30 P.M, service at 2:30 P.M. Covid precautions will be enforced please wear a face covering. In lieu of flowers please make donations to Kaisers JW House 3850 Homestead Rd, Santa Clara 95051.
