Angelo Manuel Ramirez passed away at his home of 60 years in Rosemead surrounded by his family. Angelo was born in El Paso, Texas, served in the United States Army and was a World War II veteran. In 1946, while stationed in Naples, Italy he met and married the love of his life, Annunziata Tetamo Ramirez. They were married for 55 years until her death in 2001.
Angelo is survived by his eight children, Dolores Louros (Chris), Manuel Ramirez (Rosemary), Joseph Ramirez, Rafael Ramirez (Mary), Rebecca Ramirez, Lorenzo Ramirez (Cathryn), Maria Leppert (Van) and Anna Ramirez. He also leaves behind 10 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren whom he loved dearly.
Angelo was a true family man and a beloved husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather and friend. His loss leaves a huge hole in our hearts. We’ll love you until the end of time, Dad.
Services will be held at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church, 1901 S. San Gabriel Blvd., San Gabriel, CA 91776, this Thursday, Aug. 2nd at 10:00 am and placed to rest at Resurrection Cemetery.
Pierce Brothers Turner & Stevens Mortuary in San Gabriel, California, is in charge of the funeral arrangements.
