Born in Natrona Heights, PA, the son of Charles and Minnie (Varos) Teklinski.
Steve was a graduate of Duquesne University and St. Vincent Seminary. Always following his dreams, Steve was a priest, a video store manager, a florist and a postal clerk through his lifetime. He was retired from the U.S. Postal Service.
Steve had a strong interest in American history, especially the 1960s and the Kennedy family. He was an avid collector of Kennedy family memorabilia. He also enjoyed container gardening.
He is survived by his husband, Gary Klockenga of San Diego; two sisters, Charlene (Dick) Becker of Freeport, PA, and Bobbie (Jeff) Freude of Myrtle Beach, SC; nephews, Dylan Becker and Kane Becker; and nieces, Erin Freude and Morgan Freude.
