Russell K. Hollingsworth IV

Russ is survived by his wife Tracee, daughter Kylee, as well as his father Russell, stepmother Cindee; in laws Shughie, Cindy, and Kevin; an abundance of friends, and his beloved dog Anchor. He is preceded in death by his mother Eileen and brother Bill.

Russ spent most of his life in San Diego where he attended Clairemont High and enlisted in the Navy after graduation serving honorably until 1990. Russ began his career at AT&T in 1997 where he worked for 26 years until his passing.

Russ enjoyed surfing, skateboarding, golfing, horseshoes, and most of all, Over the Line. He was an active member of the Old Mission Beach Athletic Club (OMBAC) volunteering his time for charitable causes throughout the Pacific Beach community. He coached his daughter’s soccer team and was known as Coach Russ to many young soccer players. Russ was always ready with a helping hand ,a kind word, or a corny joke. He will be deeply missed and always remembered.

The funeral service will be held at St. Brigid Parish, 4735 Cass St, San Diego, CA, at 11am on Wednesday, January 3, 2024. Followed by a celebration of life at San Diego Mission Bay Boat and Ski Club 4606 North Mission Bay Dr. San Diego Ca 92109. Casual Aloha attire for both.
