Roger Dean Ford

BoBo, as he was affectionately known by his family and close friends, is preceded in death by his wife, Carole Ford, maternal grandparents, Jessie (Henrietta Lacy) Ford, mother, Ruby Mae Ford, and brothers, Robert Terry Bryant and Bobby Louis Ford.

BoBo is survived by daughters, LaQuita (Robert) Oatis, Virginia; LaShunna Reneè Abron (Desmond Cain), Greenville, TX, Grandchildren, Ken'Shunn James and Keithana Abron, Great-grandchildren, Farrah Johnson and Faheem Johnson; 5 sisters, Ella Raye (Rev. Leonard Ray, Sr.) Hall, Ruby Jewel Bryant Greer, Kathy Lee (Kirk) Leftwich, Kayron Lynn (Minister Patrick) James, and Anginetta (Johnny) Jackson, 3 brothers, Elvin Leon “NiNi” (Loretta) Ford, Ricky Lynn Johnson, and Warren Edward Ford Bryant, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives, friends, and acquaintances.

A funeral service for Roger will be held Monday, January 31, 2022 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Cypress View Mausoleum, Mortuary and Crematory, 3953 Imperial Ave, at S 40th St, San Diego, CA 92113. A repass will occur Monday, January 31, 2022 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM, 3953 Imperial Ave, at S 40th St, San Diego, CA 92113. A graveside service will occur Friday, February 18, 2022 from 12:00 PM to 12:30 PM at Mt Hope Cemetery, 3751 Market Sreet, San Diego, CA 92102.
