Robert Forwood Ellison was born on February 4, 1940 and passed away on November 22, 2023 at Scripps Memorial Hospital in La Jolla, CA.
He graduated high school in Riverside California in 1958 and joined the Navy in 1958. He retired from the United States Navy after 20 years of Honorable service in 1978.
He loved being a team member of the San Diego Senior Softball League.
He is survived by his wife Alice Ellison of San Diego, CA; grandsons Austin Steele of La Mesa, CA and Dylan Steele of Huntington Beach, CA; granddaughter Tiana Ellison of Phoenix, AZ; brother Jimmie Ellison and sister in law Linda Ellison of Salem, OR; son in law Marty Steele of San Diego, CA; daughter in law of Charlotte Villings of Phoenix, AZ;
He is predeceased by his mother Evelyn Ellison; father Francis Ellison; brothers William and Marvin Ellison; daughter Sandra Steele; son Mark Ellison; sister Eydie Messke and brother in law Richard Messke and sister Margaret Ellison
