Ralph F. Silva, Jr. San Diego Ralph F. Silva, Jr. was born in Gloucester, Massachusetts in 1928. He was the youngest of 3 children born to Ralph Sr. and Mary L. Silva. Graduated from Pt. Loma High School and in 1951 married Evelyn Medina and had 3 children Ralph III, Catherine, and Brad. Ralph was a successful tuna fisherman and Captain. Was a United States Army veteran who served in the Korean War. Ralph is survived by his son Ralph III (Toni), daughter Catherine (Arnie), grandsons Joshua, Joey, Garrett & Chase, sisters-in-law Lucille Machado & Carolyn Medina, many nieces, nephews, godchildren,and cousins. Mass will be held Friday, June 10th at 10:00 a.m. at St. Agnes Catholic Church, 1145 Evergreen Street, San Diego - Interment will be at Holy Cross Cemetery following the Mass.
