Mohammed Farhan Lakhani

Mohammed Farhan Lakhani prematurely departed from us on March 11, 2023, at Sharp Hospital. Survivors include his devoted wife, sons, daughter, sister, brother, nephews, and nieces. My father relished gardening, listening to classic rock, reading literature, cooking, and playing cricket. Nobody’s predilection for French fries, and ice cream compared to my father’s. Moreover, he always poured Smucker’s Chocolate Shell over his ice cream as he could not eat his dessert without it. One of the many attractive personality traits that comprised him was that he was a selfless being. Sending money abroad to his ill relatives or endowing his brother’s destitute friend a Bluetooth stereo illustrated the monumental heart my father had towards others. “Wisdom is the reward you get for a lifetime of listening when you would rather have talked.”-Mark Twain

On March 11, 2023, at 8:44 pm, Farhan Lakhani passed peacefully with family at his bedside at Sharp Grossmont Hospital. Farhan was born August 4, 1968, in Pakistan. My father greatly enjoyed gardening, listening to classic rock, and reading. He was a very charming and selfless man. He has impacted many, and that will forever live on.

There is no one like my father Farhan, selflessness is an understatement. There will never be enough words to describe how wonderful he is. He provided the best life for me. He always made sure that I have a proper education, food on the table, and a roof over my head. These are just a few things of many he was able to provide for me. I love seeing him sitting on the couch in the evenings singing along to some of his favorite classic rock’s songs. He could name the year it came out and all the singers’ names with no hesitation. He is also amazing at Jeopardy. I always told him he should go on the show. He loves to travel and encourages me to do the same. I was able to see wonderful things because of my dad. He is very proud of every milestone in my life, he is the first person to know when I have good news and never fails to show me how proud of me, he is. I love seeing his smile when I talk about my future. He always knows what’s best for me and I am thankful to have such a devoted, loving, and intelligent father. I love you dad, forever in my heart.
