Mary Josephine (Babcock) Petty

Our beautiful Mary Jo passed peacefully on February 17, 2020 at 11:40 PM. She was so peaceful and beautiful and was showered with love from many friends and family. Her brother Steve and his wife Connie came from North Carolina to say farewell. Her grand daughter Brea and her new husband Montila was present as well Breas brother Blaise, another grandchild were able to visit and bring her love. Her daughter Lisa, son in law James and grandchildren Brittny and Bron were able to call and say goodbye. Her other grandchildren Ben, Gabe and Sofia were at her bedside to shower her with love. Her ex husband of 50 years, Robert, was able to be at her bedside and recount their wedding day for all the grandchildren to witness. Her daughter Liz as well as her fiancé Michael were able to help to deliver her back to our creator and gently place her in Gods loving presence. Her close friends Leanne and Maria were able to bring her comfort and joy. We will miss Mary Jo immensely but we are all thankful that God blessed her with a beautiful departure and that we were able to witness such a divine moment as we glimpsed into the eyes of our divine creator as we sent our Mary Jo back into his loving presence. We are so thankful for this beautiful day and we know now that our Mary Jo has peace. We will be having a celebration of her life July 20, 2020 in San Diego.
