“Lilo” Erika Sonnenschein was born in Kassel, Germany June 19,1925 and passed away with dignity and grace at her home with her family on March 26,2024. She was the best Mother, Grandmother, Great Grandmother and a dear friend to many.

During her early life she was a professional model in Europe where she met and married Glenn Bryan Miller in 1953. They had 2 children, Gina and Gary, while living in Zurich, Switzerland.

They moved to the U.S. and lived in the Boston area, Dallas and settled in San Diego where she worked as Fashion Co-ordinator at Saks Fifth Avenue, La Jolla, for many years. She was very dedicated and passionate about her career and produced countless fashion shows for numerous charities with Saks and top High Fashion designers.

Lilo retired and spent many years traveling, playing tennis and enjoying her family and many friends. She will be missed and always remembered by her amazing, sparkling personality and relentless quest to find the good and beauty in everything and everyone.

She is pre-deceased by her husband Glenn and survived by her daughter Gina Wasker (Chuck), her son Gary Miller, granddaughter Laura Wasker, grandson Max Wasker (Haley) great grandson Ellis and great granddaughter Hazel Wasker.
