Lawrence Sheldon "Larry" Brockett, 65 of Point Loma entered eternal rest on Monday, March11, 2013. A lifelong resident of San Diego, Mr. Brockett was born to Dr. and Mrs. Sheldon I. Brockett on May 31, 1947.
Preceded in death by his daughter Kristin and Mother, Helen. Larry is survived by his loving family and countless friends. Survivors include his wife of 42 years, Claire. His children Tyler (Shira) Brockett of Del Mar, Kelli (Blair) Poutney of Pacifica and Derek of San Francisco. Mr. Brockett was the proud grandfather of 4 and the adored son of Dr. Sheldon I. Brockett who also survived him.
Private services will be held at Merkley-Mitchell Mortuary and a Private Inurnment at Mt. Hope Cemetery. Friends who may wish to make donations in Larry's Memory are encouraged to consider The American Diabetes Association.
